Scientists have discovered that the concept of common sense doesn’t exist

Just over two thousand people took part in the study and were asked to evaluate over 4.4 thousand different statements from the point of view of common sense. For example: “Avoid close contact with sick people” or “All people are created equal”.

The surveys showed that respondents’ answers varied quite a lot, and what may have seemed normal to one respondent seemed abnormal to another. At the same time, “collective” common sense, when people agreed, was very rare. The experts also pointed out that a person’s personal opinion on certain issues strongly affects his perception of common sense.
