Scientists have found out why flowers got a specific colour in ancient times

Subsequently, it turned out that the flowers pollinated by bees were characterised by a shorter wavelength spectrum, and those that, in turn, pollinated by birds, were characterised by a longer spectrum. According to the researchers, the focus on pollinator preferences prevented the emergence of competition for resources and was a determining factor in the subsequent development of flowering plants on our planet.
